2009 A year of doing...

I have had a huge awakening... that I need to stop talking about doing something and just do it!! But the thing is I do that with almost everything from loosing weight, exercising, starting my business, remodeling my home everything... You see I think I let my finances control allot of my life... I am a Stay at home mom (SAHM) of 3 lovely children our oldest (Matthew) will start school this August he will be 5 in June, Amaya (second) just turned 3 in December and our baby Isabella just turned 1 also in December of 08. So our finance are stretched along way as it is and adding more on our plate is a little scary... Don't get me wrong I do allot but not us much as I want or maybe I want to do so much but just don't finish things, I think that's it. I have been that way my whole life, ever since I can remember.. From my first puff paint project as a preteen I have all these ideas of creating and selling and giving gifts but it doesn't last, I give up or just can't stay focused. So back to my awakening I read Ty Pennington's first edition home improvement book that someone gave me for Christmas.. It made me realize that I can do anything I want I might just have to do it a different way or think out side the box as my mom likes to put it!! "2009" is going to be my year of doing..No more talking but doing!

So here is my list, my goals, my desires
Semi remolding my kitchen (cabinets, counter tops and sink)
Redoing the flooring in my bathrooms as well as the bath tub and shower
Truly start selling my Luna Baby Boutique Products
Make curtains for all the windows in my home
Take a vacation
Reach my weight loss goal
Decorate my bedroom
Keep in touch with extended family more often and visiting more often
Buy bikes and accessories for my and my husband before spring
Trips up to Tahoe with the family more then just once a year!
Work on another part of my backyard.....

I think... I know I can do it!!

I am very happy to show you all my changing pads that I have created and are ready to sell!! these traveling changing pads are my very first projects!! So saying that I am selling all of them for only $10.... I have two different styles....

Cotton and chenille backing or a very soft Flannel with a soft terry fabric backing!! All are very soft for you little ones in your life as well as compact enough for a large purse or diaper bag!

I am extremely excited to say that I finally started making some of my products today!! It has been so hard lately to make the time to put my creativity to work. As a mom of three (Our Son 4, daughter "almost" 3 and our baby girl "almost" 1) it is a little challenging to find the time... At times I am torn between creating some fabulous products for Luna Baby or playing with my children... I have been blessed to be able to stay home with my babies ever since I found out I was pregnant with our son.. And ironically enough the idea of Luna Baby came to me while I was pregnant with my third baby... she truly is the inspiration behind it all... So as I was saying I finally finished a few products today... A very cute baby/toddler itty blanket (perfect for the stroller or car seat for those drives around town) a set of burb cloths and a very cute older reversible baby bib. All of the products have a soft minky plush backing and a very adorable Robert Kaufman (Amy Schimler) Creature and Critters (Monkey, Earth) Jungle line... I will have some pictures up soon so you all can see how they turned out!!!
